Decision made ...I bought a WD-1200VE 5400 120GB which NewEgg had bundled
with Apricorn kit (chickened out on the 7200 as some posts said the thing is
a real heater, and chickened out as my Norton Ghost 2003 refuses to auto
update and Norton site says I need ver 775 to do it via USB2, also, can use
the apricorn housing for the old drive which works fine although some say it
is flimsy) ...called WD which has a seemingly identical drive WD-1200BEVE
and their tech said BEVE is a minor update but really the same. When it
comes, I will report. Thanks to all.
