they are only good for several years. And the good thing to know is
that with the use of a screwdriver, you can replace them with another
from any online battery retailer for $15 to $18. They are the same gel
or AGM

My thanks to all the suggestions re. the UPS unit(s) that we have had
difficulty with. My husband got serious and did some internet searching re. APC
UPS
units and found some info about the Battery Back-UPS ES being problematic when
dealing with line fluctuation. We phoned APC today (sent them
