Well, I finally got an answer from him this morning at the vtext.com

Maybe he really doesn't want to receive text messages from anyone but his
family. ?? Do what the boss wants for _his_ convenience, not yours.
And there is just so much time in a day. Any time I have to learn a new
procedure, I have to figure out where to make time for it by cutting something

My boss has a Verizon cell phone and I would love to send him an
email. He texts within his family all the time, but doesn't understand
the concept of email. My few attempts at test emails, using addys I've
found on web searches, have been ineffective.

I've tried that. They claim to have not gotten it. I'm confused.

The first one is the standard for SMS the one I am giving you now is
for MMS messages.
