I USED to think the range of a wireless Access Point
was limited to 100 or 150 feet. And that someone had to
be within that range to snoop. Now I know better and
will act differently with all my customers.

That is exactly why people in the know are so upset about the new US
passports. Imagine using a similar antenna as a sniperscope for picking
the Americans out of a crowd.

But Tom, you forgot that you were issued your tinfoil hat. That will
protect you from those spying sniperscopes.. I know you have one
because I saw you the other day and you were wearing it..

I would bet that it would violate ATT's agreement with Apple.

I know of one individual who wanted to get an Iphone on his ATT
business plan but they would not sell it to him.

Apparently they did not want to support the Iphone with business
customers. Strange

Wow - an ignorant and an inflammatory statement indeed. Was your intent
to start a flame war? Apple's sales were over $9B and profit was up 56%
- not a story for a bail out. Educate yourself even a bit before you
write; avoid posting buffoonery like that! We expect more on this list.

Thank you,

The big question is: With Apple's stock tanking again, who's going to
bail them out this time now that Bill's (almost) gone?

Re: [CGUYS] Make a Straight Through Paper Path for a Brother Printer?

2008-01-24 Thread Tony B
It's not something I ever need to do, but if you do a lot of printing
on thick paper, I would buy a printer designed around that feature,
not a 'multifunction' that, at best, might be jerry-rigged to do it.

Has anyone had experience with doing this with a Brother printer? Has
anyone had experience with doing this with any other printer?

That only works if you wrap the tin foil hat around the pass port.
That is why we make the tin foil lined duct tape wallet.

IMS someone has demonstrated a scanner that picks up the RID chips in
a wallet.

Re: [CGUYS] Add extras to DVD movie in Toast

2008-01-24 Thread Wayne Dernoncourt
b_s-wilk
I have a video that I just made from a dance competition this
past weekend. I'd like to burn a DVD with the video [Video_TS]
and also include a version for iPod on the same DVD. Can this
be done in Toast so that it will play on a DVD player or XBox
and still have the iPod version included?

Ooooh, h - I can answer this one! Can you use Visual Hub?
I've used it successfully to create DVD's from one or more
AVI files that I took with my digital camera. It worked great.
