[CGUYS] Investment Tracking Recommendations?
Does anyone have a favorite program or website for tracking investments? My preference would be for something simple. Need ability to compare how different investments are performing. Also for making what if scenarios for investigating alternative investments. Software that runs on a web site that provides resources for research would be nice. * ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *

Re: [CGUYS] is anyone using jott.com
There are other voice recognition systems using phones.. to transcribe medical record entries for example. I couldn't find anything on the jott site about how long messages can be. What I don't understand is how voice recognition can work so well over a phone while a quality mic and few GHz of computing power in a quiet office don't even come close. That said, has anyone had good experience with current OSX VR technology? Charles - who lives with a Palm TX that I seldom use, an alphanumeric pager, and a cell phone that I use with one hand, even in my hydrocarbon-powered Suburban. [CGUYS] Nat Geo Classroom
Since we have all the Macs set up together it is a good chnace to clean up. I ran disk utility on them all and half needed repairs. One is still giving me troubles. After class Monday could you... 1) Clean the screens and the monititor bases 2) Whipe off the keyboards and blow out dust with canned air 3) Whipe off the desk tops 4) Run the lint brush over the seats Thanks T * ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *

http://jott.com One of my staff uses it a lot and was rhapsodizing about it. I started to sign up yesterday. Then they demanded to know my cell number. That was a deal breaker. * ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *

Call me crazy, but none of those steps seem like a good hardware repair regimen. And, I draw the line at seat de-linting. -Original Message- From: Computer Guys Discussion List [mailto:COMPUTERGUYS- [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Tom Piwowar Sent: Sunday, March 09, 2008 9:30 PM To: COMPUTERGUYS-L@LISTSERV.AOL.COM Subject: [CGUYS] Nat Geo Classroom Since we have all the Macs set up together it is a good chnace to clean up. After class Monday could you... No, Tom. Any supervisor worth their salt knows that could isn't used in orders. It tends to confuse the people. Here is your lint brush, clean off the seat and report back. :-) * ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *
