Re: [CGUYS] Router for Belgium
I don't see how that follows. The router in question uses a wall wart for power, most of these will say on them what they'll handle and there are few these days that won't do both power frequencies and voltages. My computer and camera had no problems in France with simple power plug adapters, but I didn't have any networking gear with me other than a LAN cable and the Ethernet port on the comp. Belgium is supposedly the same as France as far as power pin outs. Come on guys, the silly router runs on DC, not AC. The real question is whether the power supply used to produce the AC can deal with 50Hz or not, assuming an adapter is used. Most modern power supplies are switching power supplies with a range of acceptable AC frequencies and voltages. Anything within that range will work. If worse comes to worst, the purchase of a local power supply with the required connector and most likely either 6 Volts or 12 Volts DC would suffice. Other issues to consider though involve the European scheme for Wifi, the acceptable range is slightly different. Some routers actually can be programmed for the North American or European standard. * ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *

But are you certain that it will be compatible with packet headers written in either East Flemish or West Flemish? Re: [CGUYS] Router for Belgium
Before you waste your time trying to route to Belgium, heed this... Belgium doesn't exist. Belgium is, and has always been, a leftist ruse; a device applied to propagate the Liberal agenda throughout the world. Hijacking a real country for this use would be difficult at best; the people living there wouldn't stand for it (i.e. the fall of communism.) Thus the idea to invent an imaginary country, insert it into the global consciousness through the perversion of history, and use it as a tool of manipulation was born. http://zapatopi.net/belgium/ * ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *
