Re: [CGUYS] NEWS FLASH: Apple adds date to menu bar !!!

Precision in language and proofing of writing are often useful, I've found.
It's not the day, but the date.
And, yes, you can already display the month and date by means of the pull down
menu in Leopard.

OK, so this is not of interest to you guys, but in Leopard, and I believe in
Tiger, you've been able to display the day and month in the menu bar using the
settings found in System Preferences-International-Formats for some time. You
might have to mess with it to figure it out. But it works.

[CGUYS] NEWS FLASH: Apple adds date to menu bar !!!

2009-08-29 Thread One Man
I lost interest when Dan Frakes began his review with a minor tweak ... *9*
years in the making -- viewing the date in the menu bar.  Come on.  How
difficult is it to click on the time for the pull-down menu of the date???
Doesn't Steve Jobs have better things to do with his programmers' time?

I agree. The date in the month is typically the last thing I need
to find out, and you can also quickly open the dashboard calendar
which, if I am not mistaken, is already activated upon installation of
the OS.
