[CGUYS] Hotel WiFi advice? (put up again cuz I didn't see any answer)
Last year I went to a hotel using their wifi and found I had folders installed on my box and lotsa problems which I have fixed. Use any browser but MS Internet Explorer and you'll be fine. No need to disable file sharing, but I wouldn't type ANY passwords while on a public network, most especially online banking. Get Zone Alarm Free (Basic Firewall) and set everything (all programs, processes) to "Ask" (except for what you set to "Deny").
