I see lines wrapped at 72 chars.

This suddenly annoyed me after years of not being much bothered by it. In my
case, at least, it turned out to be caused by an Outlook setting: the wrap
setting in Tools.Options.Mail Format.Internet
Format. Inexplicably, the dialog won't let you set a value 132, but it can
be set in the registry instead, and any value works there.

Does the ___ trick mentioned earlier, always consistently trump
this URL break problem if you use it?

How do you add link tags? I thought this list didn't allow any kind of
rich text.?

Strangely, in my OP quote the url isn't broken. But in Tom's letter
following that it is. And in the same place. I _thought_ he was using
gmail, but now I'm beginning to think it may be his email client doing
something odd.

I can answer my own question. When I get this post back from the
Listserv it is unbroken. So the sender did not break it and the
Listserv did not break it. That leaves each individual's email client
as the primary suspect.

I see 2 full lines, plus a little on a 3rd line. But that's probably
because I don't run my email full-screen. My Eudora doesn't break

Even weirder than that. It made about 2/3 of the line a link and the rest
not. It breaks at the beginning of downgrade which isn't where the line
breaks.
