On my screen the following goes all the way to the right side without wrapping. What do others see? 12345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678 9012 34567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890 1234 56789012345678 I see lines wrapped at 72 chars. This suddenly annoyed me after years of not being much bothered by it. In my case, at least, it turned out to be caused by an Outlook setting: the wrap setting in Tools.Options.Mail Format.Internet Format. Inexplicably, the dialog won't let you set a value 132, but it can be set in the registry instead, and any value works there. * ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *

Re: [CGUYS] links cut off
How do you add link tags? I thought this list didn't allow any kind of rich text.? Strangely, in my OP quote the url isn't broken. But in Tom's letter following that it is. And in the same place. I _thought_ he was using gmail, but now I'm beginning to think it may be his email client doing something odd. When I get this post back from the Listserv it is unbroken. So the sender did not break it and the Listserv did not break it. That leaves each individual's email client as the primary suspect. * ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *

Word wrap at 72nd character. Digest - Gmail rich text format. YMMV --- I have very strong feelings about how you lead your life. Is it the list or gmail? I've noticed a lot of very short links lately. This one is de-linked right between the 7- and the down. There's no space there so it makes no sense.
