MONDAY, March 26, 2018– Optional program
8:00am-2:00pm –
Program includes a bus tour to view/visit a variety of structures which 
utilized aluminum in their construction. Among the structures to be seen will 
be a contemporary dormitory, an historic single-family home, a recently 
constructed college building, and an iconic multi-storey government and office 
building. In addition, a short film will be shown dramatizing the history of 
aluminum and its uses. Individuals registering for the conference will be able 
to attend, at no additional cost, the optional program.

CALL FOR POSTERS:

Poster presentations on a project or research involving architectural aluminum 
fabrication, performance, detailing, specification, design, use, care, or 
repair are welcomed. A poster presentation is one 30” x 40” board or two 20” x 
30” boards showing project and/or research information relevant to the 
conference subject matter. An area will be set aside during the conference for 
the display of posters and discussion. Poster proposals (a few sentences 
describing what would be included on the poster) should be submitted, by
