If you install a distribution, start a windowmanager, try to change the
colors or even just move the taskbar and get an Unable to write file error
the it _is_ a bug.

During run-time the program should check LD_LIBRARY_PATH,
/etc/ld.so.cache and default libs.

Oops, maybe I chose the wrong package. I figured ld.so had to do with the
linker and didn't pay attention to the 1.

Gwenole. Maybe I expressed myself a bit unclear. I always add
/usr/local/lib to /etc/ld.so.conf first thing after installing a distro
putting it first in the file.
