tested and it's definitely better. Now it's takes about a minute to start using up cpu
resources
totally (according to gkrellm), but mouse responsiveness took a hit

if it still eat all cpu power after -15mdk, then there's a bug, and gtk+ try to
segfault, but some
catched exception prevent it to do
