Downloaded a patch from http://www.iki.fi/tmb/9.1/ It allows Mandrake to see the
drives on the Promise controller, but, changes hda to hde and hde to hdc. This
is OK

The problem still exists. Redhat 8 and 9 see the hard drives on the promise
controller and Mandrake does not see the drives. Mandrake saw the drives but

If you downloaded iso's again, you did not get the latest version. You have
to install from the cooker repository as no new iso images were made after
rc2.
