I tried to get rid of some system problem, that AFAIK had to do with the '/dev' problems/solution mentioned earlier ...
The system is running on the latest kernel and updates as of 12.00 EET ... So... I booted with my MDK9b4 disc into rescue mode, mounted all partitions under /mnt, and did the: chroot /mnt rm -fr /dev/* /usr/sbin/mdk_makedev /dev sync reboot When the system rebooted, it complained of missing: '/dev/shm' and '/dev/pts' Ofcourse they were easy to add by myself, but shouldn't the mdk_makedev check for their existence...
