Well actually the SATA disks are not so far away... Here in Finland they are taking pre-orders for Seagate SATA disks now... and Maxtor Maxline disks should show up next month (don't know their price...) as for the Seagate Barracuda V 120GB, the price is: IDE: 178,- Euro SATA: 276,- Euro but you can also buy an SATA to UATA adapter for 58,- Euro, and hook up any IDE disk you want... It may be aiming too high to aim for a full support in 9.1 since they have to be tested... but after that Release the SATA disks should have found their way to the stores...
