This bug is still valid but as explained by Frederic, updating the gatos drivers
breaks 3D accelleration for some cards. Fixes will have to come after 9.1 final.
I am changing the resolution to WONTFIX.

The problem remains with Mandrake 9.1 RC1.
I tried the latest Gatos drivers and now it works.

This bug is still valid with XFree86-4.3-0.20030218.1mdk
I understand from the XFree86-devel list that this problem will NOT be corrected until
after 4.3
is officially released.

I have the same problem with my rage mobility P/M (Mach64).
I posted on the ML asking if the gatos drivers had been dropped while moving to
4.3 but got no answer.
