[Cooker] [Bug 1855] [MySQL] mysql won't start automatically on bootup
http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1855 --- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-05 10:50 --- Please read my comment in this bugreport: https://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1989 The bug is still existent and it is definitely a bug in drakxservices, if I wasn't so busy I'd fix it myself. Please take care of it. P.S. I just got the latest version and it is definitely still the case, that if you check mysql in drakxservices, that it creates K90mysql link in the appropriate runlevels and it is supposed to create the link S90mysql, that is why it does not start, only if someone uses chkconfig to set the link it will be alright and work until someone uses drakxservices again to check and uncheck mysql. --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. --- Reminder: --- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: ASSIGNED creation_date: description: The mysql startup script won't start automatically on bootup, even though I have configured it to do so. http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1855 --- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-02 17:08 --- Don't think it was a drakxservices issue. This was a problem with the default install. The problem is the default runlevels for mysql are 2 and 4, whereas the default runlevels should be 3 and 5 --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. --- Reminder: --- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: ASSIGNED creation_date: description: The mysql startup script won't start automatically on bootup, even though I have configured it to do so.
