my friend, Delores used to say! She would say you can make a meatloaf

I prefer Bill Johnson's, any flavor, but we can't get it here, although it
can be gotten online. Right now, I'm using KC Masterpiece, which I get at
Wal-Mart.
The cream style corn will work. It's a personal choice, but I would not put

Vicki, check out NFB's website. I just looked, and it seems as though they
still have the Lux timer. That's the only place I've seen it. Just to be
on the safe side, I think I may get another one.

Is this a long ring mechanical timer that times periods from 1 to 60 minutes
with a short raised line at every minute and a longer line at each 5 with
raised print numbers at each 5 minute interval that is made of plastic? If
so, I used to have one but it bit the dust. What is the price and

I know; I use the timer on my microwave quite a bit, but if I'm timing more
than one thing, I love having this one too.

I use a digital timer that talks and can be set in increments as small as
one second. Got mine from Maxi Aids. They run about $10 plus shipping. They
count up and down and can be used as an alarm clark if you are in dire need
of one. Also has at least 4 different sounds. HTH

What a great response! The one from the NFB with the markings for the
minutes is probably the one I will
check into.
I also ordered the sliceomatic from Amazon. I will let you know how it
works.

Hi Jean, that's the timer I use too, the exact same one. I love it. I use it
every day. Mine also has a feature where if you don't stop it when the time
is up, it starts counting minutes over so that you always know just how many
minutes over time you've gone. I try not to ever need that, but
Hello,
Does anyone have a recipe for Dump Cake that uses applesauce. I

I had that one, and liked it when it worked, but had to replce it
twice when it died, and I found that replacing the batteries
wasn't easy. Those little tiny button batteries are a pain.

Has anyone had experience in using theVita Mix.
It sounds like a great machine, but is it easily usable by a blind person.

The vitamix is great! I've had one for a few years now and use it for many
different things. It has replaced my blender as it is way more powerful and
mixes things in a fraction of the time. You can find a lot of users reviews
and even some tutorials on the web site. It is very easy to use.
