Yeah, I can definitely see how pancakes done in the microwave wouldn’t have the texture you prefer, nor would they really brown all that well. A browning tray might help. Also if they are precooked it might be an easy task to just heat them back up in a skillet which would let them brown a bitt.

Maybe the refrigerator pancakes might work. Do you dip them out with a measuring cup or sppon and fry them?
