Check the recent archives - I used the build-it.sh script on 20.
libpng required a special treatment... can’t recall specifics right now.

Can I install Coot on ubuntu 18.04? I get this error here "error while
loading shared libraries: libpng12.so". As far as I read v12 of libpng is
no longer available in ubuntu 16+. If there's a work around this that
doesn't require admin permissions, please let me know.

Hi Ming:
I got some similar errors on my Ubuntu install. Removing some of the non-coot
libraries (like libpng) that are duplicated might help. Also, make sure you
have the appropriate processor architecture.
