*Job Title: Oracle Business Intelligence Systems Administrator (OBISA)*
*Duration: 6+ Months *

*Job Description*

   - Installation and Configuration of OBI Foundation Suite Software
   - Installing OBI Foundation Suite components in multi-server environment
   using Oracle RAC
   - Configuring systems for deployment after installation
   - Configuring the software for high availability
   - Configuring SSL and SSO and integration with AD-FS.
   - Assisting with security design to ensure secure access to OBI
   Foundation Suite system, metadata and data.
   - Systems Management for Fusion Middleware Servers
   - Starting and stopping the system when required
   - Managing performance and availability
   - Managing and resolving issues related to availability and performance
   - Backing up and recovering data
   - Use Oracle BI system administration tools to monitor, manage, and
   configure OBI Foundation system components.
   - Production Support for OBI Servers
   - Moving systems from test to production using the procedures defined
   - Apply cache management techniques to maintain and enhance query
   performance.
   - Diagnose and resolve issues in OBI Foundation Suite using diagnostic
   log files.
   - Coordination with Systems and Development Resources
   - Working with network and infrastructure resources to ensure OBI
   Foundation Suite components are properly implemented to support technical
   environment.
   - Working with BI and DW Architects to design migration techniques for
   OBI Foundation Suite components into various test and production
   environments.
   - Work with infrastructure resources to monitor capacity and sizing of
   servers.
   - Attending regular meetings to discuss problems and issues and other
   service related issues.
   - The OBISA must be familiar with the OBI Foundation Suite, Fusion
   Middleware, and other Oracle technologies and be able to apply the
   technology for:
   - Monitor, manage, and configure system components for BI Foundation
   Suite using Fusion Middleware Control
   - Monitor and manage JEE Java components for OBI Foundation Suite using
   Oracle WebLogic Server Administration Console
   - Using Oracle Process Manager and Notification Server (OPMN) to manage
   system components for BI Foundation Suite.
   - Using the Oracle WebLogic Scripting Tool (WLST) to programmatically
   administer OBI Foundation Suite.
   - Use Oracle BI Administration Tool to manage the metadata repository
   for OBI Foundation Suite.
   - Use Job Manager to manage the Oracle BI Scheduler

*Minimum Qualifications*

   1. Proposed candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years of hands-on
   experience on the administration of the Oracle Business Intelligence
   Foundation Suite components.
   2. Proposed candidate must have experience in configuring Oracle
   Business Intelligence Foundation Suite components in a RAC environment
   3. Proposed candidate must have installed and configured Oracle Business
   Intelligence Foundation Suite in at least 2 sites.
   4. Proposed Candidate must demonstrate strong problem solving skills
   with the ability to quickly and efficiently pinpoint and resolve
   problematic system issues.

*Job Title: Oracle GoldenGate Systems Administrator (OGGSA)*
*Duration: 6+ Months *
*# of Positions: 1 *

*Job Description*
The OGG Systems Administrator will provide hands on technical support and
systems management of various Oracle technologies. The role will perform
related administration functions across one or more teams or clients,
including but not limited to designing, implementing and maintaining
application servers, databases, backup/recovery and configuration
management for GoldenGate. The OGGSA will provide input for modification of
procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day
maintenance. The OGGSA will be responsible for

   - Installing and configuring Oracle GoldenGate in both a Windows and
   Unix environment to meet the needs of LAUSD
   - Configuring the Extract (Capture) process on both Oracle and
   non-Oracle data sources such as MS SQL Server
   - Working with Data Warehouse Architect to identify which tables to
   replicate.
   - Working with ODI developer to integrate Oracle GoldenGate and Oracle
   Data Integrator.
   - Configuring the Manager process on the source and target systems.
   - Monitoring service levels (Latency, Availability, Backup/Recovery)
   - Configuring Change Data Capture (CDC)
   - Configuring and managing Oracle data pumps in pass-through mode and
   also to perform data filtering, mapping, and conversion
   - Configuring Oracle GoldenGate for High Availability using RAC
   - Configuring the Change Delivery (Replicat) process on the target
   system.
   - Starting and stopping the system when required
   - Monitoring Oracle GoldenGate performance and related issues
   - Assist in performing testing of change data capture and delivery
   - Working with LAUSD network and security resources to configure TCP/IP
   ports for Oracle GoldenGate to function properly
   - Installing and configuring the Oracle GoldenGate management pack to
   perform enhanced monitoring and management capabilities
   - Using the DEFGEN utility to create data definitions files for the
   tables in the source or target database schema.
   - Configuring Oracle GoldenGate Manager and Network Communications
   Options
   - Designing
