*Client: NYC MOCJ (Mayor's Office of Criminal Justice) Location: Metrotech Center, Brooklyn, NY Rate: = $75-$83 per hour, 35 billable hours per week Mandatory in person interview only (one round) no telephone, no skype Resumes due no later than MOnday 08-20* *Job Description:* UNIVERSAL Technologies is hiring Senior ETL Developer Data Modeler for a project in Manhattan, NY. *SCOPE OF SERVICES:* The ETL Developer will work with the internal teams to understand the data and requirement specifications. The candidate is expected to demonstrate excellent problem solving skills, teamwork, and time management. The ETL Developer’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to working under the guidance of the Data Manager to: - Develop all* data warehouse models* - Create the data warehouse and all related extraction - Transform and load data functions - Perform unit tests on all processes and prepare required programs and scripts - Test the designs to ensure the system runs smoothly - Document all* technical and system specifications document*s for all *ETL processes* - Prepare *reports for all meta data integration into systems* - Implement stored procedures and effectively query a database - Translate requirements from the business and analyst into technical code - Identify and test for bugs and bottlenecks in the ETL solution - Ensure the best possible performance and quality in the packages - Provide support and fix issues in the packages. *MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE*: The successful candidate must be highly organized, pays close attention to detail, is results driven, is flexible and is overall a problem solver.
