Job Description: Job Title: Senior Bizagi Developer Location: WCC, 10 East Baltimore Street, Baltimore, MD, 21202 Duration: 3+ years Client: Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission Position Description: The Bizagi Developer shall apply new and emerging technologies to the software development process. In addition, the individual: 1. Shall translate applications requirements into web-based software solutions deployed to the Bizagi Work Portal using the Bizagi Suite (Modeler, Studio, and Engine) with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (or newer) and Microsoft .NET Framework (4.0 or newer). 2. Shall develop process applications using the Bizagi Studio tool, to include modelling the processes and then modeling the data, defining the forms, documenting the business rules, defining the performers, integrating the interfaces, and other design, development, and deployment tasks necessary using the Bizagi suite of tools, Bizagi connectors, Bizagi widgets, as well as non-Bizagi APIs, custom components, SOAP and REST web services, data replication, and data virtualization, and 3. Shall serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of the joint team regarding all design, development, and deployment of BPM-based process applications, and instruct/mentor the team in the best practices for such development in accordance with the best practices established by Bizagi itself as well as best practices developed through the Bizagi Developer’s personal experience and knowledge, 4. Shall perform other duties as assigned within the general scope of this RFP in support of the EM Project. Education: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited United States college or university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related discipline (or provide accreditation of a foreign college or university degree by a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES)); or five (5) years of equivalent experience in a related field. General Experience: The proposed candidate must have at least five (5) years of computer experience in at least two of the following disciplines: application programming, business process analysis and modeling, BPM application development. Specialized Experience: The proposed candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience developing web applications using the .NET Framework CLR (Common Language Runtime), HTML, scripting tools and libraries, and in developing software applications using low-code/nocode development suites. 1. At least five (5) years of experience developing enterprise–level applications with low–code/no code tools, of which at least three (3) must be experience using Bizagi Studio. 2. At least (3) years of experience in implementing computer systems using an Agile, Waterfall, or Agile/Waterfall hybrid approach. 3. At least five (5) years of experience in performing requirements analysis for a wide range of users in areas such as office automation, and finance and accounting. 4. At least three (3) years of experience preparing system designs for user approval at formal reviews. 5. At least three (3) years of experience performing configuration management, software integration, interpreting software test results, and recommending solutions for unsatisfactory test results. 6. At least five (5) years of experience in life–cycle support, including maintenance, administration, and management. Must be able to provide solutions to identified software problem reports.
