*Job Details*

·         Lead testing effort for complex features which includes designing
test scenarios, creating test plans, automating and executing test cases
for wireless network elements

·         Support wireless system lab daily maintenance

·         Support wireless engineers with lab and production testing,
troubleshooting

·         Work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

·         Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

·         Reviews and verifies requirements and design specifications for
validity in overall product design, with an emphasis towards product
testability and verification.

·         Write and execute functional, usability, coexistence,
interoperability tests for the verification / validation of requirements
for new and revised devices / software applications and reports results.

·         Write End to End test cases and scenarios for validation of
Xfinity home platform and services.

·         Collaborate with Product Engineering and Development teams to
identify/analyze technical requirements and system architecture.

·         Work with hardware and software development teams to ensure
comprehensive test coverage of existing & new Xfinity Home devices by
verifying their quality in the Lab and simulated Home environment.

·         Design and configures test & Lab environments to support the
technical specifications.

·         Support certifications and trials of new devices /services.

·         Analyze field issues and perform Root Cause Analysis.

·         Analyze defects data and coordinates fixes across groups to
resolves field issues.

·         Represent QA in Stand up meetings & various change control boards.



*Requirements*:

•        Minimum 7 years’ experience in quality assurance particularly in
Wireless radio technologies

•        A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or in a
related discipline

•        Solid knowledge and recent experience with current and upcoming
wireless RF standards on Wi-Fi, 802.11g,n,ac, ZigBee RF4CE, RF, Bluetooth

•        Excellent ability to analyze RF signals, interference and
isolation techniques

•        Ability to analyze system requirements and convert to test cases,
execute scripts, select relevant test cases  from a suite of pre-existing
test cases

•        Interface with product engineering on various test planning,
execution and reporting

•        Lead test programs and projects from a technical standpoint

•        Deep knowledge of the basic RF parameters and signal flows
(frequency, power-level, modulation methods, channel widths, signal losses
etc.)

•        In depth understanding of Wi-Fi, MIMO & Antenna Radiations

•        In depth understanding of cable-domain, DOCSIS protocols,

•        Extensive knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP,
DHCP

•        Understanding of provisioning concepts using standard CLI
interfaces

•        Consultative experience with Wi-Fi test products, setup and
isolation

•        Experience with a set of the following protocols: HTTP, SOAP,
TCP/IP, uPnP

•        Strong knowledge of residential security services, operations,
system platforms and processes preferred.

•        Direct experience in Home Automation technology / industry
required with a strong preference for experience in Security and / or Cable
& Telecommunications.

•        Ability to analyze system requirements and convert to test cases,
execute scripts, select relevant test cases from a suite of pre-existing
test cases

•        Deep analysis of test execution results and understanding of test
execution procedures

•        Ability to prepare test plan, test strategy and scheduling

•        Deep understanding of Wi-Fi spectrum, various channels and
frequencies

•        Good knowledge of the basic RF parameters and signal flows
(frequency, power-level, modulation methods, channel widths, signal losses
etc.)

•        Understanding of provisioning concepts using standard CLI
interfaces

•        Basic understanding of CPE devices, configuration files etc.

•        Excellent Team player with ability to progress in autonomy and
will do whatever it takes to achieve fast turnaround for device
certification.

•        *Will require occasional travel to other facilities within 50
miles*
