We are looking for experienced Implementation Lead to join our Data and
Analytics team. This role requires acute attention to detail, a strong
sense of accountability, collaboration skills, and extensive hands-on
experience as you directly contribute to the success of our digital
analytics strategy, including data collection, reporting performance,
measurement opportunities, and the integration of data across our platform.

At DSS data is central to measuring all aspects of the business, and
critical to its operations and growth. Implementation Leads work closely
with the data engineering and front-end technology teams for tagging and
collecting, recognizing the final use cases of analyzing and distributing
data using public cloud and open source technologies.

*RESPONSIBILITIES*

· Implementation and Hands-on of our internal and third-party
analytics platforms, including Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Conviva,
Localytics, Branch, and Braze.

· Responsible for understanding the business requirements and
translating them into actionable implementation specs and owning how data
should be tracked and measured for analysis and reporting.

· Collaborate with engineering teams, data analysts and data
scientists to design and build data-forward solutions based on analytics
needs.

· Lead instrumentation for our internal data capture systems and
initiatives

· Design and maintain tracking solution documents based on
stakeholder requirements for multiple platforms, including websites, mobile
apps, and connected devices.

· Perform data quality audits, QA tags, identify data collection
issues, suggest improvements, and implement fixes.

· Work with Technical Project Managers to identify project risks
and define exit criteria for each testing cycle.

· Perform regular quality assurance and testing post-implementation
to guarantee sustained performance across our apps.

*BASIC QUALIFICATIONS*

· Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
including the organization skills required to manage multiple projects
simultaneously

· 2+ years of experience implementing and maintaining Adobe
Analytics and/or Google Analytics on websites, mobile applications, and OTT
platforms

· Proficiency with data analysis tools, including hands-on
knowledge working with data layers such as tag management systems to expose
user events and actions on webpages

· High familiarity with Relational Databases, Data warehousing and
ETL Concepts

· Exposure to Data Normalization for Data Analytics.

· Proficiency in Source to Target Mapping for between disparate
data schemas.

· Proficiency in Data Analyzing and verifying large data sets for

client builds, deploys, and manages cloud applications by implementing AWS
solutions. The candidate will apply their experience building reliable,
scalable, data-driven distributed applications.  This candidate must have
an understanding of core AWS services, uses, and basic AWS architecture
best practices.  We are creating an AWS based cloud offering which will be
the primary focus of this position.  The candidate will be delivering
applications through its full life cycle from concept to completion
including responsibilities for architecting and developing scalable, highly
available application solutions that leverage AWS services. They need to
work collaboratively with other teams within IT and across the business
teams, vendors and strategic partners to achieve project and solution





*Abilities/Key Competencies/Skills*



·   Understanding of core AWS services, uses, and basic AWS
architecture best practices (including security and scalability)

·   Proficiency in developing, deploying, and debugging cloud-based
applications using AWS Advanced knowledge of data analysis, profiling, and
conceptual modeling

·   Extensive experience in developing AWS data services (EC2, S3,
Athena, EMR, AWS Glue, AWS CLI, Glacier, Redshift, and Lambda)

·   Hands on experience in building Data Lakes using AWS services.
Monitoring and optimizing the data lake environment

·   Experience in building data ingesting services using Kinesis or
other AWS services

·   Hands-on experience in Data cataloging using AWS Glue,node.js,
Pyspark, Scala and cloud formation

·   Experience with in-place querying using Amazon Athena or Redshift

·   Demonstrated understanding of Apache projects such as Spark, Hadoop,
Airflow

·   Advanced knowledge of SQL and scripting tools for automation such
as R, Python, etc.

·   Advanced knowledge technical and functional designs for databases,
ETL, data warehousing, and reporting

·   Strong hands-on experience in development in the AWS cloud
environment

·   Ability to work collaboratively and influence the project team to
achieve the goals

·   Ability to manage time and pressures to work on multiple
initiatives at the same time

·   Ability to work with the team to put together estimations,
presentations, risks, and solutions

·   Ability to work well in a matrix organization leading employees and
consultants

·   Team player who can mentor and guide developers and strategic
partners on strategic and tactical application designs

·   Good analytical, problem solving and technical writing skills

·   Good verbal and written communication skills

·   Communication skills to clearly articulate and represent the
engineering team in project and/or solution meetings
