Implementation experience with IT security technologies such as Security Information and Event Monitoring (SIEM), Domain Name Services (DNS), Multi-factor authentication, SSL/TLS, antimalware, PCI-DSS, is important. Portfolio may have a combination of waterfall and agile projects, but will be weighted heavily to waterfall projects. The Project Manager should be well versed and experienced in both methodologies to be successful. Experience working in an environment with security infrastructure and cloud technologies is required and the selected candidate will need to be comfortable dealing with abstracts, capable of articulating complicated technical information and be known for quick assimilation into a team that has been together for 2 years or so (lots of people skills). Very strong Organizational Skills. This individual needs to be able to detect in real time what the most effective communication method for the group/individual is and adjust. Excellent communicator (VERBAL, Written), strong business acumen. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. *PMP required. 7 years managing projects. JIRA experience a plus.* *Expectations for all projects: *Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project. Build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Manage project budget and forecasting from beginning to end. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project. *Expectations for Waterfall projects:* Build and maintain detailed schedule of milestones and manage project through delivery. *Expectations for Agile projects:* Provide scrum master services to team(s) post-ideation through all planned production delivery increments. Facilitate scrum ceremonies. Maintain product backlog and release plan, and facilitate productivity by setting up meetings and removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's sprint goals.
