We have a requirement for you and the details are as follows!!! *Position: QA lead* *Location: Irving, TX* *Duration: 12+ Months* *Project Level - Job Duties of Beneficiary at Client:* - Perform requirement elicitation by interviewing, brainstorming and prototyping on the functionalities with Business users, Development team members, QA team. The deliverable for this activity is use cases and Test flow documents. - Estimate the work products using Function Point Analysis, PERT Estimation and Work Break Down structure estimation technique, Commit test milestones, deployment planning. - Develop test entrance and exit criteria for each of the test levels like smoke testing, system testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing and User acceptance testing. - Perform Black box testing to validate functionalities for the developed work products, perform white box and gray box testing to uncover code coverage related issues by developing unit test cases using Unit Test framework, NUnit frameworks and Junit frameworks. - Validate Business functionalities by executing Smoke Testing, informatica workflow Testing, system testing, Integration Testing and Regression Testing. - Track defects with clear steps for simulation with screenshots in Test Management tool - Quality Center, TFS (Team Foundation Server) and VersionOne. Help developers is simulating the defects by providing demos and sharing test data. - Conduct Defect Prevention Plan meetings to identify the root cause of the defects, identify preventive corrective actions using Causal Analysis and Resolution(CAR) techniques such as Fish Bone technique, 5 Why's analysis techniques with effective preventive plans to control rework efforts and delays. - Develop PoC (Proof of concepts) by considering best in class automation tools - Selenium Web Driver, Unified Function Testing, Telerik WebAii, SOAPUI tools to develop automation scripts for standalone applications, Web Applications, Web services and any other products and propose best solution that fits the project. - Write Programs to automate the manual testing tasks using Microsoft Visual Studio, Eclipse integrated development environments and develop a reusable framework that can be used for automating applications that can reduce their efforts for implementation. - Perform Peer code review of the automation scripts developed by team and report coding standards, logical, syntax and code performance issues - Accelerate testing by creating Test Data lakes, XML Data files with valid & invalid data by mass copying from production systems or generate test data from backend(database) by writing programs, to test the behavior of developed system for negative data, boundary value, equivalence partitioning and validate how system responds to exceptions related to data. - Perform ETL Testing to validate the business requirements by data mapping, Data Integrity, Business Rule conformance by Writing databases scripts (complex SQL queries), Stored Procedures, Functions and other DML (data manipulation language) queries using SQL client, DB2 client databases and informatica Power Center. - Develop training materials for the work products that can be used by business users, developers and Quality analysts to understand the application business flows. - Documents test case review checklist, code review checklist, testing checklist, Release checklist which are the outcomes of lessons learnt from past mistakes. - Review the test results of the team to ensure all the business functionalities have been validated against the requirements specifications provided and decide to Approve or Reject the Change request for the work products to be deployed into production environment. - Involve in Nonfunctional testing activities which includes performance testing using Dynatrace, YSLOW, HP Load Runner tools.
