*Tampa**, Florida* Area currently has *DevSecOps Engineer* that they are
looking to fill. Here are the details on the role.
*JD:*
Position Summary As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the
engagement experience of Application Development teams as they modernize
automated builds using standardized CI/CD tools to deliver Containers onto
the newly deployed OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), both on premise and
AWS EC2.
Having a strong background in onboarding existing “brownfield” applications
onto OCP with respect to integration of RBAC, secrets, etc. is imperative.
Understanding application development lifecycles as well practical
experience in working with continuous integration and continuous deployment
tools as part of the container lifecycle will be necessary.
*Principle Responsibilities*
• “White-glove” service to assist Application Development team in moving
existing applications deployed on statically provisioned infrastructure
onto the Containers-as-a-Service platform
• Guide integration of Role-based Access Control (RBAC), database, tokens,
secrets, etc. from existing legacy approaching onto modern OCP platform
service.
• Embraces DevOps pillars of success applying these principles to the
management and maintenance of the container ecosystem.
• Partners with experienced team members to develop accurate work estimates
on work packages.
• May serve as a mentor on procedural matters to less experienced internal
and third-party team members.
• May assist experienced team members with the delegation of work packages.
• Authors/edits documentation/playbook(s).
*Experience (mandatory*)
• Expertise with the *Red Hat Open Shift Container Platform*.
• Experience with *AWS cloud PAAS/IAAS technologies*.
• Experience delivering infrastructure as code using CI/CD practices.
• Experience working with infrastructure as code technologies such as
*Terraform*.
• Deep understanding of Configuration Management tools like *Chef, Puppet
and Ansible*.
• Deep understanding of Docker specifications and Containers; and
integration of Containers into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Operating System expertise in Windows and Linux.
• Familiarity with provisioning of Security Policies onto network
infrastructure and appliances
• 2+ years of experience in *DevOps and CI-CD roles* with emphasis on
security
*Knowledge/Skills*
• Possess a strong understanding of SDLC principles and processes
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high demand environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrates strong customer service awareness and orientation
• Exemplifies leadership characteristics in support of DTCC corporate
objectives
Education, Training, or Certification Bachelor’s Degree in computer science
or engineering preferred
AWS associate certifications or higher preferred
RedHat certifications in Linux and OpenShift administration preferred
