You can reach me at 847-440-2436 x 365. *Need GC/USC/TN/E3/EAD’s (no Opt’s and H1)* *Hadoop Apache Kafka* *Richfield, MN* *6+ Months Contract* *Job Description:* - Self-motivated Middleware Messaging Engineer, with strong understanding and knowledge of middleware messaging products including but not limited to Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM WebSphere MQ, etc. - A passionate technologist with automation experience in delivering self-serviceable messaging as a service solution with automated provisioning of MaaS in cloud. - In this role, you will define, design, implement and support messaging infrastructure with high quality, stability, resiliency and performance via a continuous integration and automation. - As an ideal candidate you will have designed, implemented and /or supported messaging as a service built primarily on Kafka and other messaging middleware like RabbitMQ, IBM WebSphere MQ, TIBCO, ActiveMQ, etc. in private and hybrid cloud infrastructure. - You will champion creating an engineering and support environment that embodies the best in class Messaging as a Service with features like automated broker and host failover/mobility. - Design & Development of Restful API will be an advantage. - Integration of Middleware services. - Optimize the service for maximum resiliency, speed and scalability. - Collaborate with team members and related stakeholders. *Qualification:* - Minimum 5/7 years Engineering or Level 3 infrastructure support experience on Messaging Solutions including Apache Kafka. - Expert level proficiency in Kafka. Proficient with packaging, testing, upgrading to latest Versions of Apache Kafka, TIBCO EMS/RV and RabbitMQ. - Experience on designing, implementing and supporting self-serviceable Messaging As a Service. - Well verse with least one scripting language such as JavaScript, Python, Perl, PHP or Bash. - Knowledge of configuration management framework technologies such as Chef or Puppet will be a plus point.
