Griffiths Valuation lists Samuel Weir farming in Ballysudden. He had plot 11 which was a farm of just under 11 acres. Easy enough to locate today should you wish to do so. He remains tenant in the Valuation revision records until 1888 when he is replaced by Andrew Barkley, who I suspect may have been his son-in-law.
Samuel died at Ballysudden on 14.5.1890 and the informant was his daughter Jane Barclay. Her death is listed in the Coleraine Chronicle for 1.1.1887.
