it is not my branch. The will of John Happer of 1849 is online at Proni and he
names all his sons. Probably just coincidence that there is a James there who
happened to die in 1843, the same year as my James who

several Happer families farming there in the 1827 tithes including a James.

By Griffiths Valuation in 1860 the surname was spelled Hopper. Likewise in

Hello,According to the obit of Margaret Jane Happer who died in Minnesota in
1885, her husband James had died in 1843 in Ireland. The Happers were
reportedly from Drumadd Townland. However,this will is indexed on Proni,
although no will still exists. The problem is that the townland is
