Bob, Our John W. (William) Thompson came to America about 1805-6. Am searching for his ship, He brought a wife, "E" and 4 children born in Ireland. William b. 1796, Mathew b. 1798, Margaret b. 1800 and John b. 1803, ca. John W. was the son of William Thompson of Co. Tyrone, Enniskillen Townland, and Cookston PLU. I think our John, married "E" in Tempo, Co. Fermanagh. They moved to the Steubenville, OH area in US. and had more children here.
