I just installed a fresh new RH 7.3 environment and use courier-imap.
I did the rpm stuff from the gz and got installed the courier-imap and
courier-imap-mysql
I kept two authentication modules : authpam and authmysql
Jun 2 08:23:55 kaa authdaemond.mysql: authdaemon: modules=authpam
With configuration as follows:
/etc/courier/aliasdir/.courier-default:
root
/home/virtual/test/.courier:
root
/home/virtual/test/.courier-default:
root
1. Sending to any non-existing account goes to root (OK)
2. Sending to test goes to test's maildir (why?)
3. Sending to test-test bounces
Is your MySQL db on same host with Courier?
In any case try to remove socket and leave only port.
And if it's on same host then change MYSQL_SERVER to localhost.

Courier esmtpd won't accept double bounces generated by another courier.
This makes it impossible to forward postmaster to another host.
It generates an error:
mail from: #@[]
517 Syntax error.
This is with no configured badfrom in etc/bofh.
Courier is 0.37.3.

I am trying to create subfolders and am receiving errors. I want to have my structure

Unfortunatly I am unable to create the subfolder Linux or Windows. Can anyone tell me
