I was just thinking about this two days ago, when planning an
application that would make use of the authlib. Lovely causality... So I
like the idea.
A patch will probably appear for vmailmgr in the very short term,
and most drawbacks you point out... well, I share the ideas.

Just setup a server with courier-imap 3.0.7.20040902 and it doesn't seem
to support the LAST command, so I have a few users that are fighting me on
it. Is there something I am missing or is it simply not supported?

Thank you for your suggestion. The first I increase it from 5 daemon (
default ) to 10 daemon as see in authdaemonrc file.
I still found the same problems but I seem the error authenticate were
reduced. Now I 've increased it to 15 daemon as
your suggest and hope it will be fine.

(Don't forget to restart courier!)
