This is probably related to me building on an ancient platform, but I had to munge all the Makefile.in's to get things to build properly: perl -pi -e s'/(_OBJECTS:)\.lo=/$1%.lo=..\/%/' */Makefile.in Munges the ar rules to look like this: cd .libs $(AR) $(ARFLAGS) ../$@

The authentication code has been moved to a package called courier- authlib. This allows it to be changed only once for all courier packages. One of the new features in courier-imap is the support of this new authlib package. There are some other new features too, but can't think of them off the
