Take the tin foil off.  If you don't configure faxing or uucp, none of the 
processes will do anything.

Formats delivery status notifications.

One is the client, the other one is a server.

You will not end up optimizing anything, but end up with a hacked up system 
that has a good chance of breaking on an upgrade.
