I have the same problem with Evolution (gnome). I my Netscape/Mozilla
certdb8 / certdb7, I have imported and trusted my own internal Root CA's
public certificate.
Oddly, S/MIME certs from other employees signed and issued by that CA
are trusted w/o recourse.
