I'm currently developping my own authdaemon service and after few tests I discover that the AUTHSERVICE functionality was not enabled with IMAP4 with CRAM-* (AUTHENTICATE) method and POP3 (LOGIN & CRAM-*).
Here is a small patch to enable the AUTHSERVICE in all conditions.
