According to the Amazon EC2 FAQ, Amazon offers a choice of stock Linux distros. They don't have a custom Linux distribution. If there are no Courier packages in Gentoo, then Amazon won't have them. Amazon does offer Debian as one of its choices, and Debian does have a Courier port. So that's one option. Another option is to switch to Fedora, and build Courier packages from the tarball. It's fairly easy to build RPMs from my tarballs. pgpchcvpsl42l.pgp Description: PGP signature -- Everyone hates slow websites. So do we. Hi All, I have run courier MTA, sqwebmail etc. on my home server for years. I use a gentoo linux distribution so it is easy to install the mail server. Now, I need to run the this mail server on an Amazon ec2 server. Is there a package I can use to install the Courer MTA on the Amazon ec2 server? I have checked the yum directory on the Amazon ec2 server but the mail server is not part of the yum directory. Thanks Thomas S -- Everyone hates slow websites. So do we.
