I use to live in Chicago and didn't know of any coworking out in the suburbs. This was several years and there are now many more spaces but they all appear to be downtown along the EL and the loop. There is a lot of potential if you'd like to start a coworking group and start driving interest.

Here are the few that I saw while doing a research field trip for my space. They're all in the loop, or nearby: TechNexus - very nice place (kind of corporate), productive and full. Lots of moderate-sized rooms, which seemed helpful OfficePort - a little more bare-bones (lots of concrete),
