locations, and wouldn't show the U.S. any favoritism.

Hi.
FYI, BLANKSPACES is at 4800 sf. In central L.A., $2 is rare - usually
it's higher. We are stable now, with about 90% filled/paid for on a
monthly basis. We have 28 desks, 4 offices, two meeting rooms, and a
lounge. We definitely could have fit in more.
I believe the new coworking
Freelancers Union already spearheads this effort for NY, and probably
other states. Correct, some states don't allow an org-based
insurance, including California. And yes, this is a massive
undertaking that would overwhelm our disparate, starfish teamwork.
We would have to tackle some

for profit already in place?
Would love to see this happen.. so necessary...
Thanks in advance for hitting us up with this!
Best,

Exactly. I completely concur. I also try to offer an alternative space. Say,
they want an office, then I offer a desk. Or if they only really need
part-time usage, then we can usually accommodate that.
Also, in the past, when we made waiting lists for our private offices, once we

suspend your membership. We usually only allow this for whole month

That's great to hear that you have those annual meetings and can forecast
trend. Here at BLANKSPACES, we do see some softening around Sept, but our
summers are usually a run-up in revenue, peaking in August. No other trends
here, especially since Oct-Dec 2008 put everyone in a tailspin. I'll

Hi.
I would disagree. Utilizing larger square footages is great for events, which
especially if those events are beneficial to the coworking community (ie.,
BarCamps, social media lectures, etc.), then wouldn't that be considered
community-led?

Hi.
I know that some think that offices don't belong in a coworking space, but
we've found them to be just as critical for the collaboration here. The office
provides at minimum, built-in meeting space for a team that requires a lot of
huddle time. Our other enclosed areas (meeting room,
We use mobile pedestals with cushioned seats. No one has ever asked for
lockers here, and they prefer lockable file cabinets with pencil drawers. We
have these drawer sets on wheels to reconfigure the space as needed, and the
cushions act as additional seating for events.

We actually quite encourage teams to come in. The openness of coworking forces
teams to engage with neighbors. For example, one of the employees of a team
might like the professional benefits of working for a small team, but not the
limited social benefits. I've seen many instances where
