[CUCBC Coxes] Fairbairn Cup 2015 - Final Start Order and Final Division Times

2015-12-02 Thread B. Gallant, Fairbairn Cup Secretary 2015

Dear all,

The Start Order, which can be viewed here
(http://jcbc.jesus.cam.ac.uk/old/fairbairns/start_order.php), is now
final.

A quick note on the provisional division times I sent out previously.
None of these have needed to be adjusted except the mixed novice lower
boats division (division three on Thursday) which has been brought
forward 15 minutes, meaning the start time is now 13:45. The reason for
this is that I received an enormous number of requests from entrants
asking to shift crews into this division - most of which I was able to
accommodate - meaning it is now overflowing, whereas the division before
is relatively sparse. In order to ensure the regatta finishes before
lighting up I have therefore changed the start time for the final
division.

If all crews could marshal, at the latest, 20 minutes prior to the
beginning of their division start time, except those crews in the first
10 boats of each division - if you could marshal no fewer than 30
minutes before the start of the division that would be grand, please.

I hope that's everything but as ever if I've missed anything just drop
me an email. I look forward to seeing you all on the river over the next
couple of days - Have a great Fairbairns!

Best wishes,
Ben

Hi All,

The last one, I promise.

The website is still down, which of course means the division times are
not readily available. Although some of you may have already figured the
finalised timetable out from a combination of previous emails, I have
copied the final division times in full below.

**Thursday - Novice Regatta**

Men's Upper Boats - 9:15am start

Women's Upper boats - 11:30am start

Women's and Men's mixed Lower Boats - 1:45pm start

**Friday - Senior regatta**

Men's Upper Boats - 9:30am start

Women's Upper boats - 11:45am start

Women's and Men's mixed IV+'s - 2:00pm start

Best wishes,
Ben

Hi All,

This email I cannot take any responsibility for... Due to the Sod's
Third Law, the Jesus College website, and all it's subsidiary sites
(including the Fairbairns website), has chosen this very evening to
play up, meaning I've been receiving a large number of worried emails
wondering why they can't see the start order (I'm afraid I've received
so many of these I'm not going to have time to reply to them all(!) -
please consider this as an answer!). So, to solve this problem, I have
put together a pdf version of the start order (please find attached) -
Sorry this has taken so long to get to you!

Best wishes,
Ben

Apologies for the inbox spam.

Thanks to the lovely folk at Peterhouse for pointing this out: You may
collect race numbers for both days from 7:30am-8:45am on either day.
By which I mean, if you come on Thursday, you'll get all your club's
numbers for both days, but if you're not racing until Friday, of
course you are welcome to come and pick up your numbers at the same
time on Friday morning.

Best wishes,
Ben

P.s. Pray this will be the final email.
