To follow up on the last email, here are further details regarding coxing
briefing requirements:

Every cox competing in bumps is required to attend one of these meetings.
In exceptional circumstances, coxes may send a representative, but please
remember that the rules for coxes not attending the pre-Bumps briefing have
changed in line with the previous Captains' meeting.

Senior coxes may now be represented by another cox from your club (who may
also be there as the cox of their own crew) - rowers are no longer
acceptable representatives. Novice coxes (i.e. those who have not competed
in Bumps before as a cox) may be absent only by prior agreement - email
Mark (m...@cucbc.org) if this applies to anyone in your club. We will be
keeping an eye out for any clubs which seem to be suspiciously short on
actual representatives; one per club is not acceptable.

(this week).

Below are the timings for these meetings. A reminder that all coxes MUST
attend one of the Coxes Briefings. Anyone who has coxed Lents or Mays
before may attend the Senior Coxes briefing, while anyone has has not coxed
Bumps before MUST attend the Novice Coxes briefing:

Dear All

The Pre-Bumps meetings will take place in the Large Lecture Theatre, in The 
Divinity School at St. John’s College. These will be on Saturday 4th June as 
requested by the Captains. The timings for these are as follows:

17:00 - 17:30 Captains
17:30 - 18:00 Umpires
18:00 - 18:30 Senior Coxes
18:30 - 19:00 Novice Coxes (first set of bumps)

A reminder to captains to ensure that all coxes attend the relevant meeting. 
This is a requirement for participation in bumps.

Hi Everybody

The standard pre-bumps meetings will be held on Saturday in the Audit Room at 
King’s. The timings are as follows:

18:00-19:00 Captains' meeting
19:00-19:30 Umpires' presentation
19:30-20:00 Senior coxes (have coxed bumps before)
20:00-20:30 Novice coxes (have not coxed bumps before)

Every cox competing in bumps is required to attend one of the coxes meetings. 
Please note rule 24

That College Boat Clubs be fined a minimum of £10 per case if any coxswain (or 
a representative from his/her crew) in the Lent or May Races fail to sign in at 
the Coxswains' meeting held by the CUCBC before these Races.

I think my last email on this subject may have gone into the email ether, so
here they are again (Captains meeting and Hon Sec election have been
switched around)

*5.45pm* CUBC Open meeting (Hon Sec election) - Details will be distributed
