Scout will participate in this release.
Just for clarification: Oxygen.2 will be a continuation of Oxygen.1a and
include the Java 9 support as well? The code base won't be

What Java 9 or JUnit 5 related changes do you contribute?

Mainly adapting to the JDT (ECJ) API changes. As we don’t have JUnit 5 on our
classpath there won’t be changes in this regard.

Hi
I presume that the many projects that hope to 'just work' do not need to
declare their intent. i.e. everything in Oxygen.1 goes into Oxygen.1a,
or is Oxygen.1a just a patch of changes for Oxygen.1?

Hi Ed
It should just work. If you do not have any Java 9 or JUnit 5 changes you
can assume your Oxygen 1 bits will be in 1a.

Hi,
How much before the release dates are we supposed to contribute? RC1 is planned
for release just after Oxygen.1 availability. We had originally planned some
release engineering tasks just after Oxygen.1a, but before any future releases.
Thanks and regards,

We're starting to assemble an FAQ. An answer to that question is in it.

Basically, a project can use the new version by simply updating the file
headers and notices. Note that it would be good community practice to
discuss this change on your

I was just wondering what the build schedule is for Oxygen.1 RC4. I have
updated the CDT bits and I want to make sure they get in. They're not in the
build that's currently running.
Thanks,
Doug.

Goldman,
Hi,
We currently have problems to get our RC4 build for Trace Compass working. We
might be a bit late for the simultaneous release contribution for RC4.
I hope the current build will be successful and we can contribute it in roughly
1h. I'll email once it's done.
Sorry for this.
Best Regards
That's a CBI project matter. Can you open a bug, please?

Hi,
we've contributed our RC4 build to the simultaneous release. All good now from
Trace Compass perspective.
Thanks
