It'd probably be nice if that is somehow setable (eg, you need to do tasks 1,5,6, but 2 and 3 are optional). Not positive how hard that would be to set up. My idea is that it would be implicitely optional, at the quest designer's implementation. I picute a quest like a tree, with many leafs

I don't know if this is possible, so would appriciate if someone who understands the complexities of autotools could comment. Currently the server has a NEWS file, which contains changes and notices related to the server, by default it is not very useful and must be maintained by the server admin

another thing which would be nice, would be a variable timeout for quests, not just that they must be completed in a certain time, but that if they aren't something else happens (maybe another quest) For example a farmer asks you to kill the birds eating his crops, if you don't do so within X
