Your embedded styles have a visited link as #33 (which is a grey colour, no?) The embedded styles in your page will override the styles in the stylesheet. Try putting what you want in the embedded stylesheet and see if that helps. Riva Michael Forker wrote: Hello I have a problem with

http://www.melbournecostumehire.com.au/test/ In IE6 7, the background of this navigation is black. In Firefox Safari, only the hyperlinks are black background and when they finish, the background color of the rest of the #navigation div is showing as white. How do I fix this? Joanne
