LOL...
Thanks Andree.

In response, I have only this to say...

One:
I don't generally respond in that way. Regular readers of this list know
that I either respond off-list or by appending rather than prepending my
reply. I apologize for prepending my hasty reply to an email which didn't
warrant a reply in the first place.

Two:
Zoe's email is meant to clarify an issue which is not clearly defined in the
list policies:

Quoted directly from http://www.css-discuss.org/policies.html (item 3):
"Trim your replies. If you have more quotation than original text, think
about cutting down on the quoted stuff. The list members can look at the
message to which you responded, or check the archive. Prune that quoted text
with ruthless abandon. Everyone else will thank you for it, especially the
list admin(s). Don't forget, thankful list admins are less hasty with the
unsubscribe button."

This portion which reads "...think about cutting down on the quoted
stuff..." is abiguous at best. I also had not fully read Zoe's reply, which
was included in a reply to another question. While it's nice to think that
every message sent to the list is read in its entirety, that's probably
unrealistic.

I imagine if Zoe thought I was a regular violator of this practice, she
would have emailed me to set me straight.

Three:
Don't you have any reply or line of thinking relating to my ORIGINAL email?
