You're saying you're uncomfortable using tables to present tabular data
even though that is what tables are for?

Yes, part of the problem is that many people (including some people on this 
list)
don't know that there is a legitimate use for tables. They think, "If the layout
for this site can be done with CSS then we won't need tables anywhere on the
site." What we here should be doing is having someone present a layout they 
think
can only be done with tables and see if it can be done with CSS. And, yes, 
please
continue to use tables for presenting tabular data.
