Why does Internet Explorer show fonts in heavier weights than Firefox, and what

Hi Everyone-
I am working on a site redesign for a bed & breakfast. The place has several
rooms so I am trying to do an image hover to display the different room
information. The code works in all browsers I have tested except IE6. I
cannot get the hover image to display when I rollover the room

I have the horizontal nav dropdown boxes positioned right in FF,
they're way off in IE and vice versa. So I just need to sub one style

your style sheet specifies all font properties exactly, but I don't think

There was another one I've used - a command line only one, and the only
way you could stop it was to use Task Manager to kill it. I think it
was TinyWeb - yes, here it is:

Generally: especially beginners should avoid hacking browsers whenever
possible.
In most cases hacking is a completely unnecessary exercise,
and one should at least not attempt to hack any brow
