THANK YOU, PHILIPPE!  Using the suggestions offered at the link you  
provided, I added position:relative; to the container dl, and then  
letter-spacing:0.1px; overflow:hidden; to the dt containing the  
checkbox and the text, and it works now.

[css-d] typical cross-browser trouble

Hello,

I wonder if someone could help me understand how to solve this kind  
of issue:

What am I doing wrong with my tabs?  The height varies from safari to  
firefox on the mac, and on win ie, it tends to be similar to firefox  
on the mac.
